Description: Original 1968 stereo pressing of Dr. John's landmark debut LP "Gris-Gris" on ATCO (SD 33-234). Recorded in the wee hours of unused Sonny & Cher studio time, this swampy, voodoo-tinged psychedelic soul record is now considered one of the essential debut albums of the era — Rolling Stone has ranked it among the greatest albums of all time, and it's a perennial "holy grail" for psych and New Orleans funk collectors. Striking red-and-green cover photo of Mac Rebennack (Dr. John) in full Night Tripper regalia.
Condition: Record and jacket are in excellent condition (NM/VG+) — glossy vinyl, minimal surface marks, cover shows only light shelf wear at most.
