Dr John - Babylon LP UK Original Issue ATCO LP from 1969.
Very nice copy of this Dr John classic 2nd LP, a magical album full of blues, psychedelia and voodoo at a tempo all of its own, a true masterpiece and great follow up to his debut Gris Gris.
The fantastic gatefold cover grades excellent, the front and back laminated stunning artwork is very nice with little signs of wear.
The vinyl is graded Excellent-, there is a small light 1cm scratch on side 2, which has no effect on playback. There is some mottled surface effect from the poly-lined inner sleeve and many years of storage. The sound quality is excellent throughout.
Original dated plain inner sleeve is excellent if a little aged.
This is a another Dr John classic Blues/ Psychedelic / Voodoo album which includes a homage song to Jimi Hendrix (The Lonesome Guitar Strangler) and is available here is very decent condition. A difficult album to find.
