Description
This is a great play copy of the classic album Gris Gris by Dr. John, The Night Tripper on ATCO Records with category number SD 33-234. It has the yellow ATCO labels which (I believe) were used 1968 through 1979. In digging into the history of this album, I believe they were used on Gris Gris for the first repress in 1972 (the album originally debuted in 1968). Runout on label reads ST-C-671158-MO, signifying it's a Monarch Record Manufacturing pressing.
The record play grades great on my Stanton STR8-100 turntable with minimal surface noise. The record looks great too, with only light scuffing or scratches, none of which impact play to any great extent. The sleeve has mostly clean edges and corners with only slight traces of wear. The cover has a used price sticker. Some light ring wear is evident, but it's not significant. Very clean and solid record I'd list as a VG+ all around. Worthy of any collection!
