~~~This rare Dr.John album features stellar studio crew including Eric Clapton (the entire Derek & the Dominoes band, actually), Ray Draper (who recorded with John Coltrane and solo), Doris Troy (who recorded with the Beatles, and solo - remember "Just one look"?), the entire Mar-Keys (credited here as "Memphis Horns"), Graham Bond (who - in addition to his ground-breaking solo career, recorded with Harvey Mandel, Clapton, Baker and Bruce - collectively known as "Cream" - as well as Jimi Hendrix and many others); Bobby Keys (who played sax for the Rolling Stones - remember that great tenor sax solo on "Brown Sugar"?) ; Calvin "Fuzzy" Samuels,   etc, etc, etc.

All in all, one big Cajun jambolaya of everything tossed right in, and looks like they are all having one big kreyol Mardi Gras party here. What strange voodoo funk stuff these folks will do after the party is over, we have no clue.  More gumbo, please!!!
