Dr Strangely Strange. Heavy Petting 1970 original Vertigo label.
The vinyl is worn with small surface crackles on both sides, much less on side A. Side B has been played more and has slightly louder surface crackles, with only one noticeable clunk on track 5. Overall, the audio is good with no skipping. What you are getting here is a bit of real history; the record has been played many times and has imbibed a unique atmosphere, so much so that you can taste the Sunshine and actually smell the red Leb! (I kid you not). For those of you that know what I am talking about, here is a chance to capture those lazy hazy moments round your friend’s house laughing at everything whilst trying to put the skins together, every crackle has a meaning and is part of the listening pleasure. As you can see in the photo one of the flaps is missing, reason? It got used for a roach! There are two small and two large tears on the front cover, obviously someone changed their mind and went for the flap instead. The left remaining flap is still held on by a whisker. Unfortunately the original vertigo inner sleeve is missing, reason? Someone decided to clear up the living room after the night before and put the record back in the wrong sleeve!
