FIRST PRESSING A 1 B 1  1969 DR STRANGELY STRANGE  'KIP OF THE SERENES' ISLAND UK - 1 owner PINK BULLSEYE 
Dr. Strangely Strange were an experimental Irish folk group, formed in Dublin in 1967 by Tim Booth and Ivan Pawle 
 - The Strangelys were friends and contemporaries of the Incredible String Band whose producer,Joe Boyd, signed them to his Witchseason management and production company in 1969 
 - This first album for sale here originally came out in mid 1969 on 'Island Records'    - Over the years, 'Kip of the serenes' has acquired a considerable cult status: In 2007, Record Collector Magazine proclaimed it "one of the UK's hundred most collectable progressive rock records"    ** This is a RARE FIRST PRESSING - see photos of the A//1 and B//1 etching in side 1 and side 2 of the vinyl 
  ** Entirely pink BULL EYE label  
  ** I'm the original owner - I bought it from new 
  ** Well looked after & liitle played - carefully boxed for the last 35 years until now when I played it all the way through to test before listing

CONDITION:

I have based my grading on the eBay Record Collectors' Grading System

Grading system:  M > NM > EX > VG+ > VG > G+  followed by  G   F   W

  **  Vinyl rated 'VG+'  It plays perfectly all the way through with no skips or jumps. Visually it is 'Near Mint' - no visible scratches. There are some clicks and pops that are audible between tracks and during quiet passages. (Would benefit from a deep clean - I have only wiped carefully with a new microfibre cloth)

   **  Outer cover / sleeve in very good condition ('VG+') - see photos - shows some signs of age on the spine but text still legible (see photos) as expected for 53 years old 

   ** Original inner sleeve
