Description

From my own collection comes this very rare Dr Who vinyl record from 1966. It plays at 33rpm, and is described as a mini album.
It was released by the same company who put out the Thunderbirds records (I've got a couple of those I'll be selling in due course) but I suspect this is much more rare.
The sleeve As you can see it's all intact and as good as you're likely to find for a record over 50 years old. It has been stored in a box for years so has been kept flat and it is a laminated sleeve as well so it hasn't aged. The edges of the sleeve are in great condition and there are no major blemishes.
The Vinyl There are one or two very slight signs of rubbing on the vinyl when you look closely, but basically it's in excellent condition and looks all shiny. It has obviously been looked after well, probably because I can't remember it getting much use at the time compared with our Thunderbirds records. I've just played the vinyl on a high quality deck to check it out and it plays both sides fine with no jumps or sticking and no major clicks. You get a little bit of the usual surface noise but overall it plays remarkably well. Also, the labels have not been damaged in any way with added writing or stickers etc.
I don't know if matrix numbers are important, but they are MA 106 A2 and MA 106 B2
