Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years. My main interest has been PROGRESSIVE especially the VERTIGO SWIRL/SPIRAL LABEL, reputed to be the most collectable label in the world?

I have finally finished my SWIRL collection of over 160 albums of which most are UK pressings, and now I am going to SELL them ( I must be mad ). I have been quite fussy about the QUALITY, CONDITION and they must be the VERY FIRST PRESSINGS. The latter has been the hardest to decipher and has had me buying and selling many copies of the same album to achieve this,and I almost have with these collectable gems.

I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWESOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.

For sale here is --Dr. STRANGELY STRANGE--HEAVY PETTING-- UK ORIGINAL VERY FIRST PRESSING WITH VERY FIRST PRESSING SLEEVE,1970, stereo 6360 009 The 15h of 87 UK pressings on this label. MORE WILL FOLLOW!

SLEEVE.....GIMIXED and UN-LAMINATED. This delicate un-laminated surface LOOKS TOP. It is in GREAT condition showing MINIMALwear. It is a GENUINE VERY FIRST PRESSING.  It is very flat and square. The colours are very strong and vibrant LIKE NEW. The edges are EX. The front is EX+with  NO UNWANTED WRITING, NO STICKER TEARS, NO STICKERS  AND NO STAINING  just a small ammount of very light creases(please see pictures below). The rear  is in the same wonderful EX+ condition with NO RING WEAR unfortunately there is a sticker removal scare that has been touched in, this is not bad at all as they usually appear on the front ( please see the close-up picture below) . The opening edges  are in lovely condition with no tears and no feathering. There is no spine as such and the infirmation normally assosiated with the spine is on the edge of the 2 flaps and is nearly always worn away, this copy is only partialy worn and is therfore partialy ledgible.  The fold over flaps are in fantastic condition and are clean and bright and SUPERB EX+ just a crease to the base of one of them(please see close-up picture below).  This album comes with AN ORIGINAL SWIRL INNER SLEEVE in VG+ condition. All in all this is in wonderful condition for a 37 year old UN-LAMINATED sleeve. EX. 

LABELS.....There is NO unwanted writing, staining, stickers, residue or tears. there are moderate spindle marks. EX/EX

VINYL....Both sides of this fantastic album still have their JUST PRESSED deep black shine. When you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can see surface hair lines which are very light and mostly cased removal and replacement in and out of the inner sleeve, there are no nasty marks or scratches. In normal daylight this album is EX+. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all, wonderful sound stage and stereo seperation. There are dust crackles that can be heard only in the quiet parts of the music or between tracks, but a professional clean should sort out most of that. These HEAVY VINYL origional pressings are second to none. This really is a great copy that any collector would be delighted to add to their collection, a real KEEPER .  EX/EX+ very nice!! 

THIS IS GETTING VERY HARD TO FIND IN ANY CONDITION. IT IS RARE IN THIS EXCELLENT CONDITION.
