Description

You are bidding on the ULTRA-RARE Dropkick Murphys "Back to the Hub" 7". This version, put out by Matt Kelly's Bacon Sandwich records, is on red vinyl. The story behind this record is as follows: The original plan when pressing these records was to make 100 on red vinyl, and 400 on black. The first 50 on red would be given out to the band and friends, and the next 50 were to be given out as a contest prize to fans of the band. The pressing company screwed up, however, and roughly 150 were pressed on red, and around 350 on black. These extra 50 red records were randomly given out to the lucky few that were able to buy copies through the band's website, and are not in numerical order. This copy is numbered #111 of 150. To make certain records even more rare, Matt himself wrote random messages, quotes, and old Boston hardcore lyrics on the inner sleeve. Inside of this copy, "..1/6th of the beast.." is written Record is in mint shape, and unplayed. I'll also be including free stickers and a live CD featuring some performances from throughtout the bands career, from one of Al's first shows with the band in 1998, up until 2004.
