Please read the item description, grading, and how I grade. I try to be as specific as possible but keep in mind that unless stated otherwise, I visual grade.

EMI His Master's Voice

CSD 1499 Stereo

Vinyl: NM-

Cover: VG+

Condition Notes:

Records are generally graded on visual inspection and have been stored in a smoke-free, climate control environment.

Vinyl:

Mint: A brand new, SEALED record; never played.

NM: Near Mint. An unsealed record that looks as good as new. The vinyl looks as good as if YOU had just broken the seal on the record. This is the best grade I will give any unsealed record.

NM-: This record is NM but has some very, very minor signs that it has been played, such as slight spindle marks and a one or two very superficial marks. Should play without surface noise.

VG++: Excellent. Has several light cosmetic flaws, blemishes, or scuffs that may begin affect the sound minimally. You should only hear only a few soft ticks, if any.

VG+: More pronounced cosmetic surface marks and light scratches that will result in more surface noise or short soft ticks and pops, but should sound fine overall and does not overwhelm the sound.

VG: May have moderate noise throughout. Cosmetically, appear to have more scratches, more pronounced than you would find in my VG+ records. These are still fine for general listening.

Good: Noisy, but plays through. I will only sell very rare or unusual items in this condition.

Covers:

M: still sealed and pristine.

NM: Unsealed, may have the original shrink wrap, and no marks or wear.

NM-: May have minor signs of wear, including small (1-3 cm) hairline creases, slight edge wear and tiny corner dings.

VG++: larger creases, barely noticeable ring outline (not worn), and modest wear and corner dings.

VG+: Cover has cut-outs, deeper creases and corner wear, more pronounced ring marks (wearing becomes noticeable), and small (1-3 cm) seam splits, and slight writing and sticker residue.

VG: Larger writing on the cover, ring wear, creases, seam splits, clear tape on the cover, and other marks that are significant and detract from, but do not yet overwhelm the cover.

Good: The cover is fairly marked and scuffed. Significant spine and ring wear, large seam splits, tape, prominent writing and other marks that overwhelms the cover. The only reason I will sell a cover in this is if the vinyl is in excellent condition and/or the album is rare.

Refund policy:

Grading is such a fickle process. And although I think my grading is very conservative, my NM may be a NM- to someone else. Therefore, I describe any special characteristics on my items. Please make note of my descriptions, as you may find out more about the record here.

Refunds will be considered for incorrect item shipped, or for glaring differences between the item as described and item as received. Otherwise, all sales are final. Refund will be for the amount of the winning bid, and will not include shipping costs. If you have any questions, ask them before bidding.

Shipping and handling costs: Please read!

Please note that the US Postal Service has recently increased rates.  If you are bidding on other items, let me know when you are done, then I can calculate the total shipping cost and invoice you. I do not add a specified additional amount because the price I quote is based on the weight of the package. This is because I do not use shipping costs to make an additional profit. What you pay is what it costs me to ship.

I pack using new shipping boxes, new packing material, new outer sleeves and if needed, new inner sleeve. Buyers love it when their items are shipped with such professional care (I know I do). Such care will cost you a little extra, but you will see it is worth it.

In the United States:  Media Mail shipping.

International buyers: please note I invoice using Priority Mail. Because First Class International does not have a tracking feature, I will offer this shipping method only to repeat customers or if you have high feedback. I've lost too many reords and dollars because of the risk of lost items due to First Class shipping, and Ebay and Paypal have forced me to longer take this risk.

Auctions over $100 will require shipping insurance, to be paid by the winner. I think you would agree that peace of mind is priceless.
