Notes for collectors:
• Original 1972 U.S. issue compiled shortly after Duane Allman’s passing.
• Features his legendary session work with Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett, Clarence Carter, Boz Scaggs, King Curtis, Eric Clapton (Derek and the Dominos), and the Allman Brothers Band.
• First pressings like this have richer mastering and heavier vinyl than later Capricorn reissues.

Capricorn Records – 2CP-0108 (2 × LP, Stereo, US 1972)
Original first U.S. pressing on the tan Capricorn label.
Matrix / Deadwax example: 2CP-2600108 40258-1 (hand-etched).
Both discs have the correct cream-colored Capricorn labels with brown serif logo and “© 1972 Capricorn Records Inc.” rim text.
Packaging:
• Original heavy-card gatefold jacket with the Allman Brothers in canoe photo and printed liner credits inside.
• Includes original photo/liner insert (portrait of Duane Allman with Gibson Les Paul).
• Spine fully legible; no split seams.
Condition (visual / play-graded):
• Vinyl: VG to VG+ — light surface scuffs, plays through cleanly with only mild surface noise in quiet sections.
• Labels: VG+ no writing or spindle damage.
