Description
This is United Artists Records UAJ 14017, Duke Ellington Money Jungle, an original gray saxophone labeled, heavy vinyl. mono issue of this iconic trio record featuring Charles Mingus and Max Roach with 1A in the dead wax on both sides. The record is in VG+(+) condition, (a strong VG+) showing only the lightest of marks. The record plays quietly throughout except for some light background hiss on the final track and in a few of the quieter moments. Nothing to interfere with the enjoyment of the music. The textured cover has wear on the spine and a 3" split on the top seam. The labels are excellent. The record has been cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. A collectors grade copy of this rare set. This is part of a large jazz collection I will be posting over the next few months.
