Description

An original 1st press of EAN on the UK Philips label from 1957. Matrix 1/1. Tax Code "XT" =1957. The label design is consistent with very 1st press on Philips. Boy, this is a heavy pressing..! The vinyl comes housed in an original two flipback cover with export number [printed in Great Britain].
Vinyl (Vg+) In great condition and has been carefully looked after down it's 62 year existence! Very nice and clean with only a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a VERYGOOD+ level of playback. Relatively clean for the most part just expect a few static crackles here and there. Nothing persistent or intrusive at all. A very nice player from way back!   Cover (Ex-) In impressive condition particularly given it's age and design. Lovely clean and shiny front with out laminate lift, or obvious creasing. The rear looks equally good and seems to have practically avoided the usual ageing process. Flibacks are intact and secure. Edge wear is relatively light except for on the spine. Expect a bit of wear and the odd nick. As a result not all the text on the spine is still legible.
