Description

 Rare Duke Ellington acetate from 1941. On the label is says Harlem Airshaft Duke Ellington and the recording date was 5/24/41. B-4 is also in the upper right hand corner. Side 2 is a Gene Krupa acetate called Drum Boogie. There is additional information on Side 2 but it is in pencil and illegible. This may be a live performance that was put on acetate to allow Duke to see how it sounded, but this probably has not been on vinyl. Nice collectible. PayPal preferred and overseas bids welcome.
