Duran Duran *Decade* 1989 Original UK 1st Press LP



PRESSING DETAILS: (DDX 10) UK 1st Pressing with A-2 & B-1U stamped in run-out.


SLEEVE: (EX+) Original UK sleeve with very slight wear. The spine is near perfect. Great condition - very hard to find like this!


INNER SLEEVE: (NEAR MINT) Original printed inner looks like new! No side splits. No writing. No stickers.


RECORD LABELS: (EX) Clean labels with no writing and no stickers. A couple of spindle marks noticeable around the centre hole when viewed under bright light.


VINYL CONDITION VISUALLY: (VG) Both sides are flat and glossy and when viewed under bright light have lots of light paper scuffs and hairlines which do not affect the audio or playing in any way.


OVERALL PLAYING GRADE: (VG+) Plays superb with no loss of sound quality. Light background crackle/static in the lead in and gaps between tracks. Light background crackle in places during the quieter music. The louder music plays Excellent+ if not higher. No skips no pops no jumps no distortion! An incredible Duran Duran compilation album in nice condition - every track is a classic! Don't miss this!



Strict grading using Record Collector grading system.  All records are play tested on a Technics SL-1210 MK2 record player with a Shure White Label Cartridge and Stylus. All records are sent in correct record mailers or cruciform box with at least 4 cardboard stiffeners and the vinyl removed for the the original inner and put in a new polylined inner sleeve outside of the cover to make sure no splits happen during delivery. All vinyl is sent tracked and signed for.



RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING

All records are graded using the Record Collector Grading System with (+) or (-) to show a slightly higher or lower grade.

M (Mint) : The Record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

EX (Excellent): The Record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VG (Very Good) : The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

G (Good) : The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

F (Fair) : The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
