Description
This album is not the limited edition initial copy (that copy has a different OBI indicating a poster was included, the matrix runout is the same in some cases between the two vinyls) however what was included is a 5" John Taylor Interview (VR-198402 and it's a super flimsy flexi disc, it looks VG+-VG I didn't play it) and according to Discogs this was from a Japanese Magazine called Viva Rock from February 1984 and was given away with issue 20. Also included are the five band pictures and insert which all show light wrinkle wear. I found a copy of Viva Rock on ebay and I didn't see these pictures or insert although they may have been included with the magazine. According to discogs they were not part of this album so in this case they are a little bonus.
Vinyl was play tested through Focal Elegia's and it played as EX+ overall with the most significant issue being a tiny bit of surface noise at the start and end of tracks with the overall score of the vinyl a 93 less tracks A5 and B4 in which there was a bit more surface noise present playing more in the 90 range. Visually it looks NM overall, less a light mark on B4 and this coupeld with play is driving the EX rating; sonically and visually it is about as close to NM as can be.
The sleeve is scored EX with the most significant issues being a grab crease/bump on the top right corner. Keeping the OBI in place hides three faint creases with the longest at 12mm. On angles there is very light ring wear within the 11-1 and 5-7 positions. Within the top seam, beyond there right corner, there are a couple of tiny color chips. Finally running up from the bottom seam is a super faint crease at 8mm. Numerically the cover is a solid 87.
