This rarity is a 1973 re-issue of a 1966 album that 
features 2 different groups that Gojkovic worked with in 
the 60s. The first (side A) features members of the 
Woody Herman Band, of which Gojkovic was a member. Recorded 
in their off-time in Belgrade in 1966, the musicians in the 
Dusko Gojkovic Sextet are; Dusko Gojkovic - trumpet, flugelhorn, 
Sal Nistico - tenor sax, Carl Fontana - trombone, Nat Pierce - piano,
 Mike Moore - bass, & Ronnie Zito - drums

Side B contains members of the International Jazz Octet, which later 
morphed into the Francy Boland / Kenny Clarke Big Band! 
Tunes were recorded in Feb of 1961 in Germany. Members are; 
Dusko Gojkovic - trumpet, flugelhorn, Derek Humble - alt sax, 
Karel Drewo - tenor sax, Heinz Kretschmar - bass clarinet, 
Bubi Aderhold - baritone sax, Francy Boland - piano, Jean Warland -
double bass, Kenny Clarke - drums

The thin jacket is VG+ with some shelf wear, 2 bent
corners, ring indentations, and a sticker tear on the front. 
Back is fine except for some age related yellowing. 
LP would be EX if not for a 2" squiggly line on side A that 
causes some popping. VG+
Spines are all intact.

LP PACKAGING
We package our LPs in a thick cardboard LP mailer. 
We ALWAYS take the LP out of the jacket of 2nd hand items to 
avoid any seam splitting that could occur in shipment. 
We put the LP and the jacket in an LP plastic sleeve. 
We do NOT open sealed LPs unless requested. 
We cushion the LP in bubble wrap and use shipping tape 
on all spines to protect the integrity of the box, and to 
insure the safety of the contents. All this is included in

the low shipping price. We will clean your purchase on our 
VPI machine if and when necessary. This insures that 
you receive your item in the best possible condition.

 LP SHIPPING
We offer the US Postal Service’s Media Mail and / or Priority 
for shipping in the U.S. Buyer’s choice. The buyer pays the shipping, 
packing (see above) and handling charges. Tracking is included 
with both. We occasionally run domestic shipping specials.

Shipping to other countries is by the United States Postal 
Service's First Class Mail International. Priority International 
Is also available.
