Duster Bennett 'Smiling Like I'm Happy'.Original UK rough Blue Horizon label stereo press LP.
The first LP from Duster Bennett with Mick Fleetwood, John McVie and Peter Green of Fleetwood Mac as the backing band! With the earliest A-1 B-1 matrices!
The Ernest J. Day & Co front laminated sleeve is intact & in VG+ condition, with some corner/edge wear & laminate rubbing on the front cover and some storage rubbing and waving on the unlaminated rear cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the plain inner is intact & in EX condition. The record is in visually EX condition, with a couple of faint sleeve removal hairlines and one or two light needle scuffs visible under bright light on each side. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of a couple of light spindle markings on either side. The sound reproduction is EX, still clear & precise throughout with no loud hiss or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some brief background noise during the run in grooves and in a couple of quiet passages, overall a really great, loud & punchy listen!! The matrix nos. are; S-7-63208, A-1 stamper A-12, B-1 stamper A-11, This is one of the early copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1968 UK stereo issue of this album!!
All records are checked on an Acoustic Research deck before being listed and any flaws noted in the listing, so if you have any problems with the record please contact me for a full refund of original price & postage on return of the record (no partial refunds), no quibbles, no problems!! All grades are those used in the Record Collector Guide. All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!! UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2 KG!,
Will post to Europe (including all EU countries & Russia, Finland, Sweden, etc.) and Rest of the World (USA, Japan, Australia, Korea etc.), but airmail is limited to 5 or 6 lp's due to weight restrictions.
