Description
This 1963 UK import LP from Decca Records (SXL 6043) features Dvořák's Piano Quintet in A Op. 81 and Schubert's Quartettsatz in C Minor, D. 703. They are performed by Clifford Curzon (piano, Dvořák only) and the Vienna Philharmonic Quartet (Willi Boskovsky, violin; Otto Strasser, violin; Rudolf Streng, viola; Robert Scheiwein, cello). Album notes are in English. This specific album is the First Edition (ED1), as its labels do not have the "K/T" tax code of later versions (Photos 5 & 6).
The outer sleeve has a small air pocket in the lower left of the front side's lamination (Photo 1). It also bears a small collection index sticker in the upper right corner of the back (Photo 2). Both outer and inner sleeves are slightly yellowed around the edges. The record itself has only a faint needle mark and smudges in the runoff.
This is one of many titles from an extensive collection of classical LPs and CDs that we will be listing here. All have been carefully stored for many years, played only on premium equipment, and show little to no wear.
