Dvorak Cello Concerto Du Pre Aust HMV OASD 2751

 

Jaqueline du Pre with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra conducted by Daniel Barenboim performs Dvorak’s “Cello Concerto” and “Silent Woods”. An Australian stereo pressing on the HMV Label (OASD 2751), the labels are red with a coloured postage stamp dog logo and there is a sample record sticker on one of the labels. The record is of excellent appearance, and plays and sounds superb with some surface noise - this seems to mostly disappear after first playings. The cover is excellent.
