Here are 9 1960's UK Dvorak: Kertesz: LSO "Decca" Stereo LP's. The majority are UK original pressings. Playback is excellent. The condition is generally very nice too. I have listed them individually below.


1. Dvorak: Kertesz: LSO - Symphony No.1 in C minor "Bells Of Zlonice" (Decca SXL 6288 UK LP 1967) UK original ED2 pressing. It has a front laminated sleeve which has a pinched top & bottom spine. It comes with its original polythene-lined company inner sleeve. The record has grooved "wide band" Decca labels. These have the "Made In England..." text. It has 1st press -2W/ -1W matrices. Sleeve: Some light to very mild fading on the rear & light to very mild ringwear. VG++ condition. Vinyl: There are some light sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are some light polythene bag marks in the dead wax on both sides. NEAR EX condition. The labels are very clean & show minimal spindle wear. Plays Near Excellent to Excellent overall. There is some light, or very light, crackle in a few quieter places. The inner sleeve is in VG+ condition.

2. Dvorak: Kertesz: LSO - Concert Overtures: Scherzo Capriccioso (Decca SXL 6348 UK LP 1967) UK original ED3 pressing. It has a front laminated sleeve which has a pinched top & bottom spine. It comes with its original polythene-lined company inner sleeve. The record has "wide band" Decca labels. These have the "Made In England..." text. It has 1st press -4W/ -2W matrices. Sleeve: Some light to mild fading on the rear & light to mild ringwear. There is also some mild rubbing wear to the top edge. VG condition. Vinyl: There are some light sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are some light polythene bag marks in the dead wax on both sides. VG++ condition. The labels are very clean & show very light spindle wear. Plays Near Excellent to Excellent overall. There is some light, or very light, crackle in a few quieter places. The inner sleeve is in VG+ condition.

3. Dvorak: Kertesz: LSO - Symphony No.3 in E flat "Hussite" Overture (Decca SXL 6290 UK LP 1967) UK original ED2 pressing. It has a front laminated sleeve which has a pinched top & bottom spine. It comes with its original polythene-lined company inner sleeve. The record has grooved "wide band" Decca labels. These have the "Made In England..." text. It has 1st press -2W/ -1W matrices. Sleeve: Some light fading on the rear & a very small stain on the rear too. Some light ringwear also. NEAR EX condition. Vinyl: There are some very light sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are some very minor polythene bag marks in the dead wax on both sides. EX+ condition. The labels are very clean & show next to no spindle wear. Plays Excellent to Excellent+ overall. The inner sleeve is in VG++ condition.

It has 1st press -3W/ -1W matrices. Sleeve: Some light fading on the rear & some light ringwear. VG++ condition. It comes with its original polythene-lined company inner sleeve. The record has "wide band" Decca labels. These have the "Made In England..." text. It has -2W/ -1W matrices. Sleeve: Some light fading on the rear & light to mild ringwear. VG+ condition. Vinyl: There are some light to very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are some light polythene bag marks in the dead wax on both sides. Very NEAR EX condition. The labels are very clean & show very light spindle wear. Plays Excellent overall. The inner sleeve is in VG++ condition.

It comes with its original polythene-lined company inner sleeve. The record has grooved "wide band" Decca labels. These have the "Made In England..." text. It has 1st press -2W/ -1W matrices. Sleeve: There is a small number written on the rear. Some light to mild fading on the rear & some light to mild ringwear. There is a small 5 mm tear at the front sleeve opening. VG condition. Vinyl: There are some light to very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are some light polythene bag marks in the dead wax on both sides. VG++ condition. The labels are very clean & show very light spindle wear. Plays Near Excellent to Excellent overall. There is some light, or very light, crackle in a few quieter places. The inner sleeve is in VG condition.

8. Dvorak: Kertesz: LSO - Symphony No. 6 in D major (Decca SXL 6253 UK LP 1967) UK ED3 pressing. It has a front laminated sleeve which has a pinched top & bottom spine. It comes with its original polythene-lined company inner sleeve. The record has "wide band" Decca labels. These have the "Made In England..." text. It has -2W/ -3W matrices. Sleeve: Some very light fading on the rear & light ringwear. There is some mild laminate lifting at the spine area too. NEAR EX condition. Vinyl: There are some light to very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are some very light polythene bag marks in the dead wax on both sides. Very NEAR EX condition. The labels are very clean & show minimal spindle wear. Plays Excellent overall. The inner sleeve is in Near EX condition.

9. Dvorak: Kertesz: LSO - Symphony No. 7 in D minor (Decca SXL 6115 UK LP 1964) UK ED4 pressing. It has a front laminated sleeve which has a pinched top & bottom spine. It comes with its original polythene-lined company inner sleeve. The record has "narrow band" Decca labels. It has -2W/ -2W matrices. Sleeve: Some light fading on the rear & light to very mild ringwear. VG++ condition. Vinyl: There are some light to very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are some light polythene bag marks in the dead wax on both sides. NEAR EX condition. The labels are very clean & show very light spindle wear. Plays Excellent overall. The inner sleeve is in Near EX condition.

Due to the weight of this item (2.4 kg) it will be sent via courier. This will include trackable insurance. 

 

Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & card dividers).
