Dvorak Slavonic Dances Charles Mackerras UK Columbia SCX 3427
On “Charles Mackerras Conducts”, the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Mackerras performs “Slavonic Dances” No’s 1, 2, 3,and 10 by Dvorak, “Hungarian Dances” No’s 1 and 2 by Brahms. “Rumanian Dances” by Bartok and music by Smetana and Enesco. An English stereo pressing on the Columbia Label (SCX 3427), the labels are green with silver border and “radio waves”. The record is of excellent appearance, and plays and sounds superb, with some surface noise surface noise. The cover has prominent creases and the laminate has rubbed.
