Dvorak Slavonic Dances Szell UK Columbia SCX 6053/54
The Cleveland Orchestra conducted by George Szell performs the “Slavonic Dances” Op. 46 and 72 of Dvorak, and “Vltava” and “Three Dances from the Bartered Bride” by Smetana. A two record set, this is an English stereo pressing on the Columbia Label (SCX 6053/6054), and the labels are black with silver lettering and border and Blue Columbia. The records are of immaculate appearance and play and sound superb with a minimum of surface noise. The covers have (very) minor wear only.
