Dvorak Symphony 9 Istvan Kertesz UK Decca SXL 6291
The London Symphony conducted by Istvan Kertesz performs Dvorak’s “Symphony No 9” and “Othello Overture”. An English stereo pressing on the Decca Label (SXL 6291 stampers 4W/3W), the labels are black with silver lettering, with “Made in England” at 10 o’clock, full frequency stereophonic sound fatband and logo and a groove. The record is of immaculate appearance and plays and sounds superb (magnificent recording) with a minimum of surface noise. The cover, apart from some yellowish stains along the top on the back, is in excellent condition.
