Antique GRAMOPHONE RECORD up for sale!! We have quite a collection of these records that were found at a local estate and that will be sold over the next few weeks~~so please see our other auctions!! This record has many patent dates~the last of which reads: Oct. 29, 1895!! The record is very thick and made of a heavy vinyl material and is black in color. It measures 7 inches in diameter and only one side of the record has grooves for playing the music, the other side is not etched and unplayable. I think these were made to be played on a Victrola, but I am not sure?? This was the way they were made. The company that produced this record was: "E. Berliner's" and it was called a "Gramophone" record!! The title of the song on this record is: "Just As The Sun Went Down" and it is sung by: Mr. J.W. Myers!! What an awesome antique record for your collection!! This gramophone record is sold in AS FOUND condition. We cannot test the playability of this record~~mentioned for accuracy.
