Description

Here is an early E. Berliner's Gramophone disc. "Only Just a Little Yaller Coon" sung by Miss Estella L. Mann. List 3679.

I do not have a real Gramophone to test this disc, but I tried it on my "audiophile" turntable at 78 RPM with a Shure M95ED set at 1.25 grams tracking force. Plays fine with no skipping. Should sound even better on a real Gramophone! I am including a photo with flash, which exaggerates the appearance of scratches, but provides a detailed view of the "label" area. Has an address label of the original owner on the back, which does not effect play. I will let the buyer decide whether to remove it or keep it for historical record.

Sold as-is. Please ask any questions before bidding. Payment due within 3 days of auction end. Disc will be packaged in a paper sleeve supported by cardboard, surrounded in bubble wrap, within a larger box for protection. I will be happy to insure the item provided the buyer pays the additional charge for shipping. Thanks!
