Shiny E+ Condition!
EXTREMELY RARE LATE ELECTRIC Edison #52640 FOX TROTS!
"LIZA (ALL THE CLOUDS'LL ROLL AWAY" and
"DO WHAT YOU DO!" OUTSTANDING FOX TROTS by B.A. ROLFE & HIS LUCKY STRIKE ORCHESTRA WITH VOCALS on BOTH SIDES.
RELEASED ONLY A FEW SHORT WEEKS BEFORE THE END OF EDISON RECORDING AND THE ONSET OF THE GREAT DEPRESSION OF 1929, THIS RECORD RARELY SURFACES TODAY ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION.
Both sides PLAY GREAT on my modern turntable with light weight tonearm. Lovely QUIET surfaces on both sides. Only possible detraction is one insignificant pin point mark on 'DO' side that pops very lightly on a couple of revolutions. Gold sticker on LIZA label probably by original owner to denote their favorite side but that's just a guess.
