1994 Rare Out-of-Print Dutch Import 2-Disc Vinyl LP
Up for auction is a rare, long out-of-print, and much-sought-after Two-Disc vinyl LP set of the Eagles' "Hell Freezes Over" on the Geffen Records label (GEF 24725). This is the original 1994 import release, pressed in Holland and it sounds phenomenal! Nearly every high-end audiophile audio store out there have this recording as part of their reference demo LPs. Includes the band's greatest hits performed live in an all acoustic, intimate setting.
There are only two known vinyl pressings of this recording, this being the very first one and was at the time only available as a Dutch import as it was never released as a domestic U.S. vinyl LP. More recently, a company called Simply Vinyl has reissued this recording on a much heavier gauge 180 gram vinyl pressing. Expert ears have noted that the original 1994 pressing is the best sounding of the two.
BOTH DISCS are in NEAR MINT condition, and the full-color outer and inner sleeves are in NEAR MINT- condition. This is a near new, archive-quality copy (now nearly 20 years old) that can only be outdone by a new and sealed copy, for which the chances of one available anywhere is zero to none!
