EAGLES On The Border QuadraDisc CD-4 Channel Discrete LP EQ-1004 USED NM/VG+


QuadraDisc (quadraphonic) LP surfaces are graded: NM condition.  Sleeve is graded: VG+ condition.  Inner sleeve (with QuadraDisc information) is graded: VG condition.  Please see photos of actual item on offer!


EAGLES On The Border is a nearly perfect album from the playing & production, to the harmonies, to the songwriting.  Songwriters include Jack Temphin, J.D. Souther, Jackson Browne, & Tom Waits (Ol’ 55).  Don Henley & Glenn Frey aren’t dominating the proceedings yet, so Randy Meisner sings lead on two tracks, and Bernie Leadon sings lead on his own My Man.


QuadraDisc LPs will play on regular stereo or mono equipment.  From the inner sleeve: “This Quadradisc is a stereo-compatible quadraphonic record.  Play it on a normal stereo (or even monophonic) phonograph, and it will sound like a fine stereo (or mono) record.  But play it through a four-channel system equipped with a CD-4 discrete disc demodulator and cartridge, and you’ll hear it in full, breathtaking discrete quadrophonic sound.”
