USA PROMO PRESSING VINYL LP IN GATEFOLD WITH INNER.
If you are looking for the finest quality audiophile pressing of this album, look no further - THIS IS IT - we have heard dozens of pressings of The Long Run (forget the CDs they are truly horrid), and NONE OF THEM sound as rich and meaty as this promo pressing on good old vinyl - it has to be very early off the first laquers as it has 'that sound', and oddly for the late 1970s, the vinyl is actually decent for once - 'King of Hollywood' has never sounded as dark, threatening and mysterious as it does on this pressing, and the rockier tracks simply sizzle - if you are an Eagles fan and are looking for the ultimate vinyl pressing of this title, don't let this one slip you by because they do not come up that often in top playing condition.
