Description
EARL BACKUS "Haunted Guitar" LP . Rare original mono issue from 1956 on Dot Records DLP-3026 in BEAUTIFUL condition!! The players are Earl Backus (guitar), Frank Rullo (drums), Mel Schmidt (bass) & Remo Biondi (guitar & percussion). The songs are "Haunted Guitar", "La Golondrina", "You Make Me Feel So Young", "Our Love Is Here To Stay", "Earl's Boogie", "Tempo Nuevo". "South Of The Border", "The Way You Look Tonight", "Tahitian Rendezvous", "Give Me The Simple Life", "Ricky Ticky" & "Baubles, Bangles & Beads". The very cool cover art is signed Lewis.
- Condition/Cover : The cover is in beautiful VG+ condition with a dinged upper left corner where there is 2 nicks to the spine there & there is a very small tear in the front slick at the very right edge otherwise this cover is in very nice condition & pesents extremely well (see photos below!!). The cover is bright, crisp & flat looking with NO seamsplits, NO writing, NO tears, NO ringwear, NO creases & 3 sharp corners. In the photo below, the spot at the bottom of the cover is from the flash of my camera. This is NOT on the cover. Flash only.
- Condition/Vinyl : The vinyl shines like new with 100% gloss & is in VG+++ condition on both sides with a few very light surface scuffs from handling that do not affect play. From the looks of the vinyl & labels this has probably only been played a couple of times at the most.
- Condition/Labels : The labels are in NM- condition with a couple of very light trails.
