ARTIST : EARL HOOKER. (1930 - 1970).
TITLE : His First & Last Recordings. US ARHOOLIE LP 1066. Stereo. 1973. EX This is a first issue of an Arhoolie Lp following the great Earl Hooker's early death from TB. The thick sleeve is fully intact & clean, with no split seams or writing to detract, labels are bright, as is the vinyl - a really nice copy with interesting cover photos. It has obviously had very little play. One of the all-time post-war Chicago blues guitarist. Tracks include : The Hook / New Black Angel / Going On Down The Line / Earl's Boogie Woogie / Original Sweet Black Angel, etc. Accompanists include Louis Myers - hca & gtr / Eddie Taylor - gtr / Willie Nix - drums / Pinetop Perkins - pno.
