You are bidding on That Motown Sound by Earl van Dyke and the Soul Brothers. This is the RAREST LP on the British TAMLA MOTOWN label (although there are rarer ones issued before Tamla Motown was established in the UK on the Stateside and Oriole labels).
This LP consists of some really funky instrumental version of Motown greats like 'Too Many Fish in the Sea', 'Nowhere to Run', 'My Girl', 'Come See About Me' and many others by Earl van Dyke and the Motown house band. You'll find it difficult to stop yourself karoaking along with this one!
This copy is in great shape (SEE THE PHOTOS OF THE DISC) and PLAYS extremely well with NO JUMPS, NO REPEATS, NO STICKS AND VERY VERY LITTLE LESSENING OF SOUND QUALITY. Its been in my own collection for some years and I am only selling it now becasue I have found at,some cost, a better copy. I have enjoyed playing it on my high end system. Although it clearly has been played with srurface scuffs and whispey hairlines there is very little if any groove wear and good high register reproduction and no nasty background noise - just the ocassional low crackle and static - BUT NOTHING to seriously interfere with listening quality. The LP retains its gloss and lustre (see photos) and OVERALL is GREAT PLAYING COPY.
The COVER retains its FLATNESS although there are some edge creases in the laminate and some wear where along the opening edges where the laminate does not reach its still OK. There are two clever edge repairs - BUT AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PHOTO IT STILL LOOKS OK!
Please note that there are reflections on the surface of the record in the photos - these are NOT surface marks. Please note also that this is a relisted LP if you bid before please bid again - you won't be disappointed by my description of this LP.
