Description

Rare 1982 audiophile pressing double-LP of Earl Wild playing a concert of orchestral music transcribed for solo piano. The music includes composers such as Tchaikovsky, Wagner, Bach, Chopin, Mendelssohn, and so on.

Released on the boutique audiophile label, Audiofon, this album was only pressed once and in a quite limited run. Very rare example of the last and best audiophile LP technology before the CD did the LP in. A beautiful recording, and this copy is MINT. I can't imagine it was played much, if at all. The cover has a touch of shelf wear and ring wear, but is still Excellent. A rare and beautiful LP.
