Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years. My main interest has been PROGRESSIVE especially the VERTIGO SWIRL/SPIRAL LABEL, reputed to be the most collectable label in the world? The persuite of the swirls inevitably lead me to 'NEPENTHA'!  A second attept by Phonogram at a Prog' label along side VERTIGO. Unfortunately it was a flop and these extremely rare albums of only five titles and three singles are rarely seen up for sale and were never re-issued.

I have finally finished my SWIRL/NEPENTHA collection of over 160 albums of which most are UK pressings, and now I am going to SELL them ( I must be mad ). I have been quite fussy about the QUALITY, CONDITION and they must be the VERY FIRST PRESSINGS. The latter has been the hardest to decipher and has had me buying and selling many copies of the same album to achieve this,and I almost have with these collectable gems.

I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWESOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.

For sale here is --EARTH AND FIRE--EARTH AND FIRE-- UK ORIGINAL VERY FIRST AND ONLY PRESSING WITH VERY FIRST PRESSING SLEEVE,1971, stereo 6437 004, The 4th of 5 UK pressings on this label. MORE WILL FOLLOW!

SLEEVE.....GATEFOLD, GIMIXED and UN-LAMINATED. THIS IS IN MY OPINION ONE OF THE BEST SLEEVES EVER MADE, Roger Dean at his very best. This delicate un-laminated surface LOOKS NEW. It is in GREAT condition showing ALMOST NO WEAR. It is very flat and square. The colours are very strong and vibrant LIKE NEW. The edges are N/MINT. The front is N/MINT with  NO UNWANTED WRITING, NO STICKER TEARS, NO STICKERS  AND NO STAINING, AMAZING. The rear  is in the same wonderful N/MINT condition with NO RING WEAR. The inner gatefold is AS NEW. The opening edges are in lovely condition with no tears and no feathering. There is no spine wear and the infirmation is perfect, there is NO creasing on the spine. Ther is very minor wear to the very tips of the corners and a small dink to one corner ( see photo )but that is it!  All in all this is in wonderful condition for a 36 year old UN-LAMINATED sleeve. N/MINT....STUNNING. I GUARANTEE YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER COPY OF THIS SLEEVE.........EVER.

LABELS.....There is NO unwanted writing, staining, stickers, residue or tears. there are only 1 or 2 spindle marks. N/MINT,N/MINT

VINYL....Both sides of this fantastic album still have their JUST PRESSED deep black shine. When you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can see VERY FEW, VERY LIGHT surface hair lines which are mostly caused by removal and replacement in and out of the inner sleeve, there are no nasty marks or scratches. In normal daylight this album is MINT. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all, wonderful sound stage and stereo seperation. There areVERY FEW dust crackles that can be heard only in the quiet parts of the music or between tracks, but a professional clean should sort out most of that. These HEAVY VINYL origional pressings are second to none. This really is a great copy that any collector would be delighted to add to their collection, a real KEEPER .  N/MINT, N/MINT
