Led by former Trouble bassist Ron Holzner and featuring the classically trained and critically-acclaimed violin work of Rachel Barton Pine, Earthen Grave combine elements of doom and classic heavy metal, adding a new wrinkle to the heavy rock genre by working in intricate melodies and musical virtuosity within their songcraft; slices of elegance in an otherwise imposing and oppressive heavy sound. Of course, this being a doom metal album, the violin is going to draw comparisons to My Dying Bride.

The new edition of the album, produced by Ron Holzner, has been completely remastered with four bonus tracks, including the new song "Death Is Another Word...." with new drummer Chris Wozniak (LAIR OF THE MINOTAUR) and the epic cover version "Stargazer" (RAINBOW) with string section Rachel Barton Pine.

 And now the album will finally see a vinyl release! Double gatefold vinyl to be precise, featuring the 10-song remastered debut with "Death is Another Word...." plus three bonus live tracks. One of the live tracks, "Death March Intro - End Of My Daze", features TROUBLE guitarist Bruce Franklin. That's a whole new side of vinyl featuring "Stargazer", plus three more live, never-before-released tracks.
