INFO TITLE ETC
EAST OF EDEN - MERCATOR PROJECTED UK DERAM SML 1038 1969

This is a nice copy of the First East of Eden Record and the Oringal pressing with the Large Deram Logo's and as shown just has the Decca Made in England text long top edge and Rest along the Bottom these are the Lables that where in use for the First Records from the 1960's this changed about end 1970 Matix's First Pressnig ending 1W Both Sides showing that this was the First Run.

Great record really good music and hardly seen anymore.

RECORD/VINYL
Disc looking very glossy and clean with no scatches I have checked both sides with care under light and can see few tiny traces of marks odd hairline and odd scuffs but these show mostly under light looking almost new without the bright light checking a well looked after copy well above the copies that turn up now some would grade above me.  EX

SLEEVE
Before I talk about the sleeve please let me say there where to tiny paper tear's to the back of the cover these where 1CM and 0.5CM these can just been seen on rear but been fixed. Cover has the Cut out hole on back as they all do light shape of disc but still nice and showing good amount of while color still and not discolored to much, Spine is nice with all Deatils viewable conrers have a little wear but still looking Crisp and sharp. Front cover looking nice I always find this sleeve hard to find great this one is quite nice having some of the very light creasing to the edges and Small clear Crease to the bottom Right Corner over all a good all aorund copy. VG+

LABLES
There are some spindle marks viewable showing its been played.

PLAYBACK (What you hear)
The playback is very nice with good clear crisp sounds there is little light crackle at the run in's and between Tracks and
few odd crackles and Odd Pop, still playing very nice from start to Finish with No Jumps or Skips etc.

This copy plays much the same as my own really so very good playback.

My Record Grading System (Based On UK Record Collector Guide)

I play all my items before Listing Please Check my own Deatils Record/playback If
You want to Ask Please Feel Free to do so Always Happy to Talk about Records

I always give Clear Information on all items such as the Sleeves and Records,
Along with Extra items like Inners or Posters etc.

PLEASE NOTE I DON”T USE “MINT” MY HIGHEST GRADE IS NEAR MINT OR M-

(M) Rarely used unless Item is still un-open new. Mainly for new or Re-issue Records

(M-) OR NEAR MINT (A Fantastic Collector Copy)
Very Clean Item with little signs of use, looking almost as new both sides clean with No Scratches
or Surface marks there might be odd Paper marks. Should any copy fail to meet this grade I Prefer to list
down a grade but I always provide sufficient information.

(Ex) (Collector Copy)
The Record has clearly been Played shows some signs of enjoyment, Strong Copy Retaining Full Crisp sound.
Might be odd surface Line or Few Very Minor hairline marks or a few Scuffs. Playback would Still Be Ace with
no Playback Issues.

(EX-) OR (VG+) (Good Keeper Copy)
This Grade means that the copy may have slightly more signs of use but would always have Good Crisp sound.
It might have extra paper marks or Few Hairlines or even an odd Scratch this would not be Audible unless said
and how the Scratches affects the Record would clearly be listed.

(VG) (KEEPER COPY)
The Item has clearly been played many times but Despite Visual Marks Like Hair lines or Scratches and Some
Surface marks. The Sound Still Retains Good playback, if there is a scratch that Sounds I clearly indicate
where it occurs and how it affects the track playing time.
