Description
So, after five decades of collecting vinyl and Hi-Fi, the time has finally come to downsize. Over the next few months, with great reluctance, I will be gradually selling off my treasured collection of records, cds and hi-fi equipment. It will take a while !!! For instant sale is a copy of an original first UK pressing from 1971 of the 'NEW LEAF' album by EAST OF EDEN on the HARVEST label (SHVL 796). A genuine 1st pressing it has matrices ending in A3 and B3 in the runout grooves.
The gatefold sleeve is in very good condition for its age but the outside does have some edge and corner wear, a few surface marks and a bit of general 'grubbiness'. However, the inside of the gatefold is in really excellent condition. The spine has some wear but it is just about fully readable. Please study all the photos to see the condition for yourself. The labels are in excellent condition with just a few spindle trails. The record surfaces are in very good condition with just a few light surface marks but no deep scratches. Playback is excellent with only very occasional light surface noise ('crackle') at times. Definitely no 'sticking', 'jumping' or loud 'pops'. A great listen. The record will be wrapped in bubblewrap before posting to ensure that it does not get damaged on its journey. I will dispatch the record in a proper record mailer and will post within one working day of purchase by second class post so that it gets on its way to you as soon as possible.
