3ChordRecords is offering for auction an Excellent copy of the hard to find original self titled 1971 LP by East of Eden on Harvest.

Cat No.  SHVL 792

The LP is pressed on heavyweight vinyl and retains much of its original shine, it looks clean and it is only when held up to a bright light that a small number of light marks can be seen, visually I would desrcibe it as Excellent.  The labels are in excellent condition with a small amount of spidering on side 2, the side 1 label has a slight manufacturing defect where the glue has lifted, this can be seen in the picture but I do not think it detracts from the quality of the LP.  The record plays excellently as the light marks do not affect reproduction.

The inner sleeve is the original Harvest company sleeve advertising other Harvest bands, it is complete with no tears but does have evidence of a mark where sellotape was used on it (again this is shown in the pictures)

The gatefold sleeve is textured and is in Excellent condition, there are no large tears or splits, the spine is clean with a little wear (about 5mm) at the bottom.  The edges where the record goes in has some wear and have bloated slightly from use, this stops the sleeve being Excellent to Mint but overall the sleeve is a very strong VG to Ex -.  The inside cover is clean with no tears or marks.

Overall an Excellent copy of this really hard to find album, I have tried to picture and describe all the faults but overall an excellent copy.
