EAST OF EDEN – Mercator Projected

(U.K. Pressing, DERAM SML 1038) 1969 Stereo

The second U.K. pressing of East Of Eden’s debut LP (circa 1970).

COVER – G

-large patch of tape residue at the top of the rear sleeve, also visible at the top portion of the front.

-light ring-wear to front laminate.

-clear, legible spine,

Sleeve printed in England.

VINYL –

1. Visual –

Side 1 – G – One small line which can be felt at the end of T2 into T3.

Side 2 – G+ - No major scratches.

2. Playback – Play-tested from start to finish. Mild crackle throughout, but still a strong player.

Side 1 – G – The above-mentioned mark causes light clicks for approximately 1 minute at the beginning of T3.

Side 2 – G+

No sticks or jumps.

LABELS – VG minus – Light spindle lines on either side; slight discoloration to center of A side label.

INNER – VG+ - Blue Decca inner; no seam splits.

-Due to the increasingly-expensive International shipping rates set down by Canada Post, combined shipping is not available for International orders.

-Packages automatically receive $100 in coverage through Canada Post if full value is quoted on customs form.

PACKAGING –

All records will be carefully packaged with the vinyl removed from outer sleeves, placed within a plastic outer sleeve, and safely secured within two sturdy pieces of cardboard to prevent movement during shipping.

PAYMENT –

Payments can be made through PayPal, and must be received within 7 days of auction closing.

Items will be shipped within a week of payment receipt, as time and travel constraints prevent me from making more than one trip to the post office per week; please bear this in mind when leaving detailed feedback.

Each winning buyer will receive a confirmation e-mail once the album has been mailed, with no exception. Proof of mailing is obtained for every package sent.

GRADING –

I always use both visual and play grades in my description, based strictly on the Record Collector Standards (although no grade higher than EX+ will ever be employed).

Every second of each record is played and carefully-analyzed for crackle, repetitive clicks, distortion, jumps or sticks. I am constantly striving to deliver items in much better condition than can be expected from the description or letter grade.

REFUND –

Refunds are available for ‘significantly not-as-described’ items only; differences between plus and minus in the overall grading will not constitute major errors.

As there is no way to accurately grade the contents of sealed LPs, no refunds will be offered, under any circumstance, for these items.

If you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact me immediately and we will come to a satisfactory arrangement.

Shipping costs, without exception, are non-refundable, including shipping costs the buyer may incur during the refund process.

This seller is not responsible for items damaged or lost in the post (without exception), and no refunds of any kind will be issued in either instance.
