Been In my Collection for Decades
Very Good Condition
Recorded & Pressed Very Well
Just Listened to it - Seems Like Nobody Ever Played it
No Clicks or Pops on My System.
“East of Eden formed in Bristol, England on the west coast about 150 miles directly west of London.
Ron Caines and Goeff Nicholson had both been in several jazz and soul bands
before they met in Art School and formed as Picture of Dorian Grey.
One single was recorded and released but the band name was changed to East Of Eden.
The song sunk like a brick, but the band name stayed.
They were influenced by Jean-Luc Ponte, The Mothers of Invention and other strange US west coast bands.
With different instruments they were a real Avante-guard band
playing The Marquee Club in London and opening for the likes of
Jethro Tull, The Deviants, Family, Ten Years After, The Nice and others.
EOE were together for 40 years and released 13 albums.
Musically, middle eastern music, jazz, electric violin, heavy guitar rock, special studio effects, echoes,
woodwinds, sax, flute, vocal harmonies”
