Ebenezer and the Bludgeons, one of the first punk bands to come out of the Baltimore scene along with Da Moronics, formed in 1977 as Ebenezer and the Scrooges, but changed the name before their first gig. They were a staple at the Marble Bar (the CBGB's of Baltimore) which showcased similar acts. The band had a number of personnel changes but original members Davison and Arscott were the constant members. Reportedly the band would throw raw octopi into the audience during performances. In 1978, they released 1,000 copies of a 4 song E.P. entitled Peer Pressure.Rare collectors piece. No markings at all on labels. Hard to find.
