ORIGINAL ECM VINYL
All of my vinyl LPs offered for sale have been storedupright in racks in a smoke-free home. They are either brand new factory sealedor like new and protected by a plastic sleeve to prevent dust.
The images displayed are actual. Takingphotos through shrink wrap doesn’t always produce a good quality image and there may be reflections. Any defects are stated in the notes, for example: scratches,cutouts or slightly worn edges to the jacket. Most records will have none.

Eberhard Weber put his stamp on improvised music in Europein the early 1970s with his unmistakable sound; there is no other electricbassist, with the possible exception of the late Jaco Pastorius, who is asimmediately identifiable. Working with his custom-made upright 5-stringelectric bass, he gradually expanded his sound possibilities to a point wherethey became virtually orchestral. The cellos of the Stuttgart Radio Orchestrahelped define the characteristics of Weber's first ECM recording in 1973,TheColours Of Chloë (ECM 1042). Here, Weber's sound had very little in common withthe American jazz-bass tradition from Ray Brown to Scott La Faro and - for thatvery reason - intrigued American musicians including Ralph Towner and GaryBurton. Later, Weber became a member of Towner's seminal Solstice group and -along with Pat Metheny - a guest in Burton's various bands. The three Coloursalbums, Yellow Fields (ECM 1066), Silent Feet (ECM 1107) and Little Movements(ECM 1186) remain, in the words of the Swiss magazine Bund, "among thegreat achievements of European jazz". 1 Touch 2 Sand-Glass 3 Yellow Fields4 Left Lane
