ECHOING AMERICA - ITALIAN LIBRARY Lp music by STEFANO TOROSSI and GIOVANNI TOMMASO played by I MARC 4. Original Italian pressing on the SERMI label (SR SP 130) from circa 1972. Outstanding session by the cult Library arrangers backed by the legendary I Marc 4 studio group. An inspired musical interpretation of early '70s young America and the Italian hippie sound of the period. Track for track, Echoing America rivals the best of the Remigio Ducros / Daniela Casa - America Giovane Library trilogy ;) Our soundclip opens with the incredible psychedelic funk theme COAST TO COAST with super-heavy Bboy drums / aggressive fuzz distortions and breaks, followed by several other important themes including the funky hip hop masterpiece SIXTH DIMENSION / the electronic jungle birds and exotic dub delirium of HARLEM JUNGLE / the sinister METROPOLIS and jazzy lounge of BLACK POWER and NEW MEXICO. Great for DJs. Other strange and country fried pop / hippy folk rock tunes like the break-beat SIX MILES FROM BLACKSTOCK / DANCE TOMORROW and FAKE IT sound like missing themes from Un Uomo Dalla Pelle Dura film soundtrack by Carlo Pes. The funky Hillbilly vocals on here remind us of the Acid Delirio Dei Sensi soundtrack single too. Bizarre, ancient Red Indian / Americana cave art sleeve artwork to match the brilliant music. Superb production sound. To quote from the back sleeve liner notes... Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG+ condition with light scuffs and hairlines. Superb production sound. Some light surface noises and a few soft pops (as you can hear on the soundclip). A couple of lines and wear marks to both paper labels from the original pressing process. The laminated thick card sleeve is in strong VG++ condition overall with light wear. Old sticker residue mark under Sermi label logo (front top). Back sleeve has ring dirt marks from storage. Sharp edges and some laminate chipping to bottom spine side corner. Camera flash glare to sleeve and label photo. Very rare Library Lp!!!
