" Eclipse " (self-titled)
1976 Columbia CBS FS-90340, original issue/pressing Canada Stereo
Not the similarly-named Brazilian band from the 70's....this is Quebec's "Eclipse"....an awesome tour-de-force Pink Floyd-ish cosmic prog band who managed to release just two obscure albums through their brief 2 year existance.
Monster DUAL Moog synthesizers, with former Aut'Chose lead axeman Pierre Gauther (lead guitars, synth guitar), former Jacques Blais keyboardist Daniel Barbe (keyboards, synthesizers), Yoland Houle (bass), Pierre Tremblay (percussion, synthesizer), Chris Castle (drums), and some superb haunting (and sometimes dark) vocals courtesy of Marie-France Paquin (who had previously recorded the coveted monster single with the obscure pre-Aut'Chose band Genèse).
