Title:  Earl”Fatha”Hines Presents:Ed Graham - “Hot Stix”

Original German Teldec pressing from 1978 on M&K Realtime Records,RT-106.Limited Edition,Direct-To-Disc recording,45 rpm.Classic high-end record,recommended by high-endaudio.com and it’s also on the TAS list.Side 1:Caravan (E.Graham-drums,E.Hines-piano,W.Brown-bass.)Side 2:Sonic Inventions(E.Graham-drums).Audiophile masterpiece and together with the Sheffield Drum Record(wich I also offer in this auction)the cleanest, tightest and most dynamic drum recording ever made. 

Condition:the record looks mint to mint--.Side 1 plays as such,but there’s a little crackling before the music comes in.Side 2 has a low crackling in a few parts behind the drumming during the first 1/3,the remaining 2/3 are free of that and play in mint-/mint--.

The cover has a tear from a removed pricesticker in the front’s upper right corner,front and back are otherwise fine with just slightest shelfwear;all seams are intact,the lower and the sideseam show a little rub in some parts(the upper seam is free of that),slight rub on the corners,I would grade ex but will add a minus for the tear.

Grading:this used record has been cleaned on a prof. cleaning machine.After that I playgraded it on a Rega Planar 9 with a EINSTEIN TU-3 Super Fine Line moving coil cartridge (please consider that the playback might differ a bit depending on your own equipment).I also visually graded the record under a strong light.I give you a detailed description of both gradings.Only an unplayed record is mint,the highest grading for a used record is mint-! My basic gradings are:mint-ex-vg.As a free service,this cleaned records is stored in a brandnew NAGAOKA deluxe innersleeve and the cover is placed in a brandnew PVC protection-sleeve!
