Description

This is our first sale from a top of the market collection, comprising of just early stereo rarities on Decca HMV, UK Columbia & RCA. First labels issues in Near Mint condition to 99% of them, all described in detail with plenty of pictures. Includes many items rarely seen on ebay.

 1964 First issue of Uk Columbia SAX  2562.

Andre Cluytens conducting Paris conservatoire orchestra in Roussel:  Bacchus and Ariadne Op.43, The spider's banquet Op.17 and Sinfonietta, Op.52. Flipback sleeve and the original company inner is present, semicircle stereo label is first label for this issue. This is Near Mint with no marks to the playing surfaces, clean labels and the sleeve is Near Mint. With the company ad inner, and I have added a nagaoka antistatic inner because this nice original back catalogue ad type was unlined. Considered to this day the definitive performances of the these high quality Roussel works.

This record is not warped, labels are clean.
