Obscure and outstanding pop oddity by singer-songwriter, Eddie Adamberry (real name) with legendary producer Mike Batt at the controls. Features their psychedelic and ultra-catchy "Captain Jones" that ticks all the right boxes for lovers of the UK Toytown psych sound. Comped on Tea & Symphony (The English Baroque Sound 1967 -1974). David Bowie influenced vocals and sophisticated rock a la Electric Light Orchestra with beautiful strings / addictive rhythms and phased vocal chorus. Love the intro with its stabbing cellos and fuzz distortions (also repeated midway). Recorded at the Lansdowne Studios with help from top session players of the day, like Chris Spedding / Herbie Flowers and Clem Cattini. Unusual arrangement and a bit of a mini masterpiece :) SideB is called "The Land Of Milk And Honey" and is a more playful example of eccentric British pop with stylish harmony parts and folk baroque touches. Disc cut loud with big production sound. Great for DJs! Our copy is the desirable big "A" demo promo issue. Original 4-prong centre intact

RECORD - shiny, strong VG++ (closer to M-) regardless of some faint hairlines and light scuffs from storage / a couple of faint pressing blemishes / disc cut loud with big production sound / some natural light background noises / original 4-prong centre intact
SLEEVE - not graded - original RCA company sleeve has light general wear / item from the archive of an important record label who had offices in Milan, hence the archive pen notation to front and old sicker residue mark to both sides
LABEL - some light wear marks from storage (mostly to the 4-prong centre) / some natural age discoloration / a few faint old dirt marks from storage
