RECORD packaging / shipping method:
I am a record collector who understands the importance of securely packing records. I always pad the package well to prevent shifting during the shipping process. I also use industry-standard shipping boxes which are specifically designed for shipping records. Records are shipped outside their sleeves (if a sleeve is included) and covers to prevent damage during transit.
Here's a rather rare 45rpm record from Eddie Bo & Inez Cheatham on the Capitol label, please read below for full details:
VG++ to NM- = The record has been cleaned with care. General excellent surface with only a few light marks near lead in on "If I Had..." side (no noise or audio defects). Smooth playback, continuous of course with no skips. Nice, loud and clear sound with only very light background noise. Record looks stunning in my opinion and super clean, "Lover and a Friend" side is near perfect. Clips from both sides are below for examples of playback. This record has been recorded to disk, a downloadable complete MP3 file of the entire record can be made available to the winning bidder. Record looks as the pictures show on the left.
The actual, unedited sound file below is provided by my Yamaha P-520 Direct Drive TT with Digitrac 280E cartridge @ 1.5 grams /// I can't guarantee the record will sound exactly like the file below since all turntables are equipped differently.

The labels look great as shown in the pictures. No markings or other defects to speak of. Very nice.
Capitol sleeve comes with the record as well as a plastic protective sleeve. The Capitol sleeve has a couple chips missing near the mouth and some light overall wear, no splits from my inspection. Again, the pictures show the sleeve well - both sides.
I understand that this is a relatively hard record to find, let alone in this excellent condition. The starting bid is relatively low to instigate bidding, please see my feedback to rest assured of a smooth transaction.

GRADING: I will have the Goldmine Standard in mind when grading but will be taking plenty of pictures and providing text to represent the record's condition.
"Goldmine Standard" grading: SS = Still Sealed Never opened. Any flaws (torn shrinkrwrap, creasing) will be indicated in the description. NM- = Near Mint Minus Has been opened, but is still in excellent condition - nearly flawless.
VG+ = Very Good Plus
Vinyl: May have scuff marks and signs of some wear but will still play almost perfectly throughout, with only "barely detectable" audible cracks or pops. A slight noise at the beginning is allowable, but the remainder must be nearly flawless. - Cover: May only have the slightest signs of normal wear.
VG = Very Good
The majority of records (worth selling) fall under this grade. - Vinyl: May crackle, pop or make other annoying noises, but only occasionally,never continuously, and not more loudly than the music being listened to. - Cover: Normal used cover wear such as ring wear and split seams. If there is abnormal damage such as tears or markings, but the seller still feels that it qualifies as a "VG", the damage must be described in comments attached to the item.
