(No writing, No stickers....The original tri-centre is solid and has NOT been stuck in. The silver lettering is crisp and shiny. As you can see in the pictures there is some wear around the spindle hole)

ORIGINAL 1957 UK LONDON LABEL 7" SINGLE

On offer here is an original UK pressing (Made In England) of the stunningly rare 7" single "Sittin' in the Balcony" by Eddie Cochran, first released in 1957 on the legendary LONDON label.

This is undoubtedly the RAREST UK 7" SINGLE release by the truly great EDDIE COCHRAN.

This legendary and extremely rare Eddie Cochran single has been played many times and does have numerous surface marks, scuffs and scratches, however, both sides play very well with only some moderate surface noise and a few light pops. Nothing too intrusive. Both labels are very clean with some typical spindle hole wear. The original 3 prong triangle centre is fully intact and completely solid!!! The single comes housed in its original London company sleeve. Although not in the best of condition, both sides of the 45 do play very well with no jumps and no sticks. This record only very occasionally turns up for sale and this copy will be fine for your collection until a better one comes along!

Needless to say this is a highly collectable record and is easily the rarest Eddie Cochran UK 7" single!!!

MINT (M): The record / cd displays barely any signs of use, if any, with no marks or deterioration in sound quality. Extra items and cover are near perfect.

EXCELLENT (EX): Shows only minor signs of being played with very little lessening in sound quality. The Cover and extras will have some light wear and or creasing

VERY GOOD (VG): Has been played many times but has no major deterioration in sound quality, despite some noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches. Cover and extras will have normal wear and tear but no major defects

GOOD (G): Has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and any extras may suffer from folding, scuffing, split spine, discoloration etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable and has considerable surface noise and may even jump. Cover and contents will be torn stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly. Covers badly damaged or partly missing

+ or - : Indicates slightly better (+) or slightly lesser (-) condition than main grade
